The San Angelo Stock Show was established in as an opportunity to promote agriculture to West Texas boys, and eventually girls. The show started with cattle and breeding sheep classes, and market shows were referred to as "fat" shows. The San Angelo Livestock Show has grown to be one of the largest junior shows in the nation.

The event features over 40 different contests, competitions, and events for youth and open exhibitors. Cowboy Up x Downtown x Loudmouth. We purchased Lucky from Schulze Showpigs in Lucky and her offspring are easy-moving, balanced and have beautiful profiles. We are so confident in these genetics that we brought 3 of her gilts back to the farm! Tips is a littermate to Jemma. We love her temperament as much as we love her muscle and beautiful dark blue color. Her first litter took two kids to the backdrop at this year's Bexar County Show.

This year we bred her to Heartbreaker, and were rewarded with a mix of blue, chrome and calico! Nomad x Tom Cat x Big Rigg. Mouse is a Tom Cat x Big Rigg. We were lucky to get a piece of Big Rigg just before he was retired, and Tom Cat has done great things for the quality of our herd.

We love Mouse's bone, muscle, deep body, color and temperament, and we couldn't be more excited about this Nomad litter. Tongue Tied x Cowboy Up x Downtown. Vespa is a Cowboy Up x Downtown Lucky's daughter. Missy is a calico gilt we purchased last fall from Polich Showpigs. She is a Nomad x High Rise. Missy placed 4th at Bexar County and 2nd at the Southwest Type Conference in Belton, where we bought her back at the auction.

We could not be more excited about adding her to the herd, and can't wait to see what this Family Tradition litter holds in store!
