Electric Guitars String Eastwood.
Used — Excellent. I'll be putting it through it's paces and my HRD at a gig tomorrow. I plugged into a Carr at Anderson's and it sounded really great - very full, chimy yet un-Rickish. Bridge pickup and a comp may get it to Rick territory - but i really like the middle setting.
Overall, I'm very pleased. Given the caveats I've mentioned I am comfortable recommending the Nashville 12 to those on the fence. Although it doesn't have "Rick-O-Sound" said sarcastically, never used it- thought it sucked it sounds full and bold. I'll know more over the next few days, but I have zero buyers remorse and i'm excited! Sep 19, 2. Age: 62 Posts: 19, Here's a bigger picture: Gotta say, those rascals look mighty good to me!
Cheers, Tim. Sep 19, 3. I think I like the Classic 12 even better: Cheers, Tim. Sep 19, 4. Thanks Tim! Yes, much mo' better pics. I got to play both when I was in Austin several weeks ago. While the Classic 12 was, I thought, equal to the Dean models, the Nashville did it for me. Classic is nice, though - I probably like it's body style a tad better. Sep 19, 5. Posts: 25, Dono, Congratulations. Cheese factor? I don't know; I really like it. I've had an Eastwood P Special for about 4 months and I'm still thrilled every time that I play it.
I think that Eastwood will be a company to watch. The Eastwood guitars are priced such that anyone can afford one but they are styled to appeal to the older guys as much as the younger guys. I like them. I like looking at them and I like playing them. Check this out I think it sounds great. Congratulations and enjoy! Sep 20, 6. Age: 49 Posts: 2, Sep 20, 7. Posts: 4, Sep 20, 8. Posts: 45, About This Listing. The guitar is easily 9. No cracks, major dings or scratches.
The neck is perfectly straight, and no visible fretwear. The body is a size and shape, but it is a full hollowbody, with no solid center block like a It weighs in at a nice light 6. It also comes with a nice TKL hard shell case that fits it perfectly, and also has no scuffs at all on it.
These guitars did not come with a hard case standard, so I paid extra for it. See the original specs below I am the original owner and purchased from Jerry's Lefty Guitars several years ago, when Jerry had a custom run of a dozen of these made up in lefty.
I know this model has since been discontinued, and I don't think there were many more made in lefty. The best thing about this Eastwood is the nice wide fretboard and medium-slim neck that makes it pretty easy to play unlike the ultra skinny Ric 12 strings that I could just never play! It has very low action as well, looks great, and the mini humbucker pickups have some nice chime to them. I'm just not using it much these days.
True hollowbody.
