He ignored the most common of social interations, which is to introduce oneself when engaged in a business conversation.
More importantly, he failed to introduce himself to my wife, who is more sensitive to social behavior than I ever was. He said his name and I said, "Jaime, we are done here, I want my vehicle registration now. There is No Way we would ever buy a cir from this dealership" He had the supreme rudeness to once again say they were getting it for me. At this point my wife stood up and said, "Give us our registration now or I am calling the police.
She then started walking towards the office. I promptly got up and followed her, I wanted to be close to what ever she intended to do. As soon as we reached the door somebody handed me the registration and we turned to walk out. I was handed my registrstion when I reached the door. The first saleman then asked us to sit back down so he could go over the papers he been holding.
I said, "Forget it, we're done. Actual dialogue might have differed slightly, but my wife read this and she concurs in its overall capture of the torment and torture we were exposed to at Pacific Nissan in San Diego, CA. Is this common practice to hold potential customers hostage? I've bought numerous cars off dealer floors in my life, not always the most fun, but never have we experienced anything like this. Not only would I never buy a car from this dealership, I will make sure everybody I know is aware of our experience.
Pacific Nissan responded. Sincerely, The Pacific Nissan Team. San Diego CA. I called their sales department and spoke to Alex Rodrigues. Alex stated that the Juke was available and I told him mine was damaged beyond repair.
My insurance is covering my total loss and would like to purchase Pacific Nissan's Juke. There was no conversation about money down I did state that I was meeting with my banker on Thursday to secure the loan prior to the insurance company cash out on my totaled Juke.
Rodrigues informed me that the Juke Nismo RS was already sold! I was rather shocked and upset without any prior knowledge of the sale. At approximately pm on Saturday March 10th I was surprised to get a call from the manager of Pacific Nissan dealership. I said YES! I was then put on hold and Alex Rodrigues told me the Juke was mine if I still wanted. I asked what happened to the previous buyer. Alex said, he had a family emergency and was unable to purchase the Juke.
I was elated and asked if this was real and if he was sure. I was assured the vehicle was mine and afterwards relative, who lives 80 miles away, proceeded to San Diego. At approximately pm Saturday March 10th I received a call from the personal cell phone of Alex Rodrigues. Soon as I heard his voice I said I was informed by the operator that he was currently in a meeting.
She asked my name number and what this pertained to, she then said he would call me back in a few I never received a call nor email. Needless to say, I find this type of abhorrent sales behavior disingenuous and possibly quite actionable if not worthy of a Better Business Bureau complaint and more! I have worked in the auto business for a number of years through college I was taught that customer service, whether it be in sales or maintenance, was and still is number one in customer satisfaction.
Unfortunately, this has not been the case. Thank you. Worst experience. Bought a used car from them 26 Feb. Before I even left there lot I notice the there was no power to the radio. I drove to the front were there sale manger told me he personally he accepted the trade and the radio worked and was just a fuse. He told me to have my daughter bring the car back and the would fix the radio. When my daughter brought the car back they said it was not the fuse and they could not fix it.
If you ever buy a car from never trust there word get ever thing in writing because the will lie to your face just to make a sale and take your money.
Thank you for alerting us of this issue. We would really appreciate the chance to speak with you regarding this matter. Please contact us at your earliest convenience. We look forward to speaking with you and regaining your trust in our business. Sincerely, Pacific Nissan Team. My salesman Emilio sold my car to me back in , the entire process was fine.
